Studio Hire Terms & Conditions
Definitions
“The Client” means any person or organisation dealing with the Studio or any agent, representative, servant, employee, or subcontractor of such person or organisation.
“The Equipment” means all fixtures and fittings and all equipment situated in or provided by The Studio.
“The Studio” means the location which our studio is located in the address on your confirmation email.
“us” means Explosive Brands Ltd.“Building” means the building in which the studio is situated.
Booking and Payment
- Clients must book studio time in advance through our online booking system or by contacting our studio manager at hello@explosivebrands.com
- Payment for studio bookings is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods.
- Any bookings made less than 72 hours before the session time will not be eligible for a refund.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled booking time to avoid penalty charges.
Studio Usage
- Please note the session starts from the time the studio is booked, not from the time you start recording or arrive.
- Clients are responsible for adhering to the agreed-upon booking duration and must vacate the studio promptly at the end of their session to accommodate subsequent bookings.
- The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found, with all equipment properly stored and any rubbish disposed of appropriately.
- Any additional equipment/furniture or changes to the set in the studio, must be included in the time booked. Please note that you will be responsible for any transportation of this equipment in and out of the studio or building.
- Clients are responsible for any damage to studio equipment or facilities caused by negligence or misuse during their booking period.
- Please be respectful of other studios and people on location.
- Overrunning your session will result in a 1.5(x) multiple of the studio’s hourly rate, as a late fee, which is incurred for every 30 mins over the time you booked.
Equipment and Technical Support
- The studio provides basic audio recording equipment and technical support during booked studio sessions.
- If there is a custom setup using external equipment we can’t guarantee that the quality of the audio or video will be the same as the examples provided on the website, however, you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment.
- Any equipment lost, damaged or stolen will be charged to the client at its full replacement cost.
- Any files recorded at the studio, except when an email and audio transfer (add-on) has been purchased, is the responsibility of the person(s) that has booked the session. Files will not be saved after the session is done, so please make sure that you have all files with you before you leave your session.
Content and Licensing
- Clients are solely responsible for the content of their recordings and must ensure that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and intellectual property rights.
- By using our studio facilities, clients grant us a non-exclusive license to use their recorded content for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Liability and Indemnification
- The studio shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the client's use of the studio facilities or equipment, except to the extent caused by the studio's negligence.
- Clients agree to indemnify and hold the studio harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the studio.
Health & Safety
- Smoking is not permitted in the building
- Cooking & hot foods are not permitted in The Studio, (unless prior permission has been undertaken), but there is a kitchen in the building which is free to use.
- Clients should familiarise themselves with the location of the clearly-marked fire exit in the building.
General
- These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and the studio and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
- The studio reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting on our website.
By booking studio time or using our facilities, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
